Release Desk If Not Booked (Advanced Desk Allocation)

The “Release desk if not booked” feature within Advanced Desk Allocation allows organisations to temporarily assign desks to users or teams while still ensuring unused spaces are made available to others if they are not required. This helps maximise desk utilisation and prevents reserved desks from going unused during the working day.

How does “Release if not booked 1 hour after” work?

This setting means that a user or team has priority access to the allocated desk at the start of the working day. However, if the desk has not been booked within the configured timeframe, the system will automatically release it 1 hour after the start of the working day, making it available for others to book.

How does “Release if not booked 1 hour before” work?

This setting means the desk will be held for the allocated user or team up until 1 hour before the start of the working day. If the desk has not been booked by that point, it will automatically be released and become available for general booking.
