Attendees: Default Anticipated Location For Meetings

Set the Default Meeting Location to In-Person, Remote, or Unknown.

Clearooms allows you to set a Default Anticipated Location for all meetings in a room. This setting helps streamline scheduling by pre-selecting the likely location type for your meetings, saving time and reducing manual updates.

Options Available

You can choose from three options:

  1. Unknown: The location isn’t specified by default. This is useful when meeting participants may join either in person or remotely, leaving the choice flexible.

  2. In Person:  Meetings are assumed to take place physically in the meeting room. This is ideal for teams that primarily meet onsite and need to reserve the room accordingly.

  3. Remote: Meetings default to a virtual setup, such as Teams or Google Meet. Perfect for distributed teams or meetings that rarely require a physical presence.
