Buffer Times (Meeting Rooms)

Set a mandatory gap between meetings to ensure rooms are ready and available for the next booking.

This rule enforces a gap of your choosing between meetings allowing time for meetings to be concluded and vacated before the next meeting.

  1. If you have integrated rooms with Microsoft or Google this rule may get bypassed by booking in Outlook or Google Calendar unless you enable the "External Calendar" rule.

  2. If you are using the Clearooms room display app on a tablet outside rooms this buffer time is not enforced on walk in meetings as a visual check on the status of the room can be done by the user before booking.
